The animals of Manor Farm overthrow their cruel human owner with dreams of creating a society where “All animals are equal.” But as the pigs assume leadership, their new society slowly transforms into something far darker.
Originally inspired by the Russian Revolution and the rise of Stalinism, Orwell’s political satire explores power, propaganda, inequality, manipulation, and the fragility of freedom—themes that continue to resonate more than 80 years later.
