Our final meetup for the year is fast approaching and we have a great line up of speakers from IBM organised. We will be hosting from Upstairs Startup Hub and also be live streaming on Zoom for those that can't make it. Below is a quick summary of the talks, looking forward to our last catch up for 2021.

Ben Post, Supply Chain Software Technical Specialist with a farming, finance and AI background based out of WA.

Ben will introduce IBM Blockchain Transparent Supply (BTS) and show how you can use one of our existing BTS networks, IBM Food Trust to connect participants across food supply through a permissioned, permanent and shared record of food system data. It comes with that tools that can help increase food safety and freshness, unlock supply chain efficiencies, minimise waste, enhance your brand’s reputation, and contribute directly to your bottom line.

Michael Wang - Senior Meteorologist and Solutions Engineer with IBM AI Applications. Michael has worked in weather business solutions over the past 25 years, helping businesses mitigate weather risk and leverage weather opportunities.

Michael will present the latest development on weather forecasting sciences, and how weather intelligence can be integrated into business processes and help businesses make better decisions. He will also touch on the topics of climate risk and sustainability and discuss how businesses can start implementing practical measures to pave their ways to sustainability.

Sachin Khisti - Managing Director - Carrington Associates is an Australian based Business IT solution company, working across Australia, New Zealand and India over 15 years.

Sachin will give a quick overview on Carrington Associate who work with various industries and clients from start ups to large global organisations, as well as public sector. Carrington Associate is business partners with IBM, Microsoft, RedHat the company focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IOT, Weather, IBM Blockchain Transparent Supply.
