Summary:
Model-Based Testing (MBT) is a powerful QA methodology that allows QA to focus on required system behavior rather than specific scenario maintenance. QA teams compose a computer-actionable description of the required system behavior, and then use automated tools to create test scenarios, optimized test suites, test plan visualizations, and more. This takes QA automation to a whole new level, reducing test maintenance to a minimum. MBT can be used for UI automation, API testing, and manual test generation. It can also handle requirement validation - even before a system is being implemented.

This session will introduce Model-Based Testing: attendees will learn what MBT is, how to try it out, how it can empower their teams, when it can be used, and what it can't do. Even if MBT is not for you, learning about it makes you rethink QA and its current state-of-the-art.
