Before I get into this event, I want to offer you all a challenge:

Our next Creative Collisions event will explore the sci-not-fi world of bio-hacking. And, you know what?, it's shaping up to be pretty ridiculous (in a good way). Here are three of our many partners that you'll be able to visit:

• MiraculeX (https://www.facebook.com/miraculexsweetener/) will be on hand to give you a free chance to "flavor trip" with miracle berries. It's a fun (and safe!) experience that makes vinegar taste like juice and lemons like candy. But there's a serious purpose for this fun stuff, and it's something we'll let them explain to you while your taste buds are freaking out over what you're eating.

• Josiah Zayner, of The O (http://www.the-odin.com/)DIN, is starting a revolution in the bio-hacker world by creating low-cost, accessible science tools. Check out his DIY CRISPR project that rocked it on Indiegogo (http://indiegogo.com/projects/diy-crispr-kits-learn-modern-science-by-doing).

• Stanford genetics grad student and science vlogger extraordinaire Alex Dainis (https://www.youtube.com/user/Lexie527) will be showcasing an interactive bacterial painting station.

We'll have several more partners on hand and, oh yeah, you'll get to visit our new super slick BioDesign Studio exhibit along with our other Upper Level exhibits.

Beer, wine and food (super tasty empanadas!) will be available for purchase. Ticket includes gallery entrance for Upper Level exhibits and access to the Scenes + Screens event in the IMAX theater.
