As part of the The Netherlands Film Festival: Story Space program three meetups are invited to bring one evening full of innovation and inspiration on the subject of storytelling & coding:

• Creative Coding
• Mezrab International Storytelling

Meet the Meetups - introduction and interview
Moderator Tijmen Schep will interview meetup organisers Sahand Sahebdivani, Klasien van de Zandschulp, Hanne Marckman, Lisa Rombout and Carolien Teunisse.

Presentations:

Sahand Sahebdivani - Mezrab storytelling Sahand is a well known expert in the art of storytelling. He is the founder of storytelling centre Mezrab, and founded the equally named storytelling school together with Raphael Rodan. Sahand Sahebdivani was honoured storyteller of the year 2014 by ‘Stichting Verhalen’.

Nikita Gerritsen - Amsterdam Museum
Nikita Gerritsen will present the new chatbot project of the Amsterdam Museum. Visitors of the exhbition Bol Flinck can use their Facebook Messenger app to connect to three characters of the paintings in the exhibition. These characters will tell you their personal stories from 17th century Amsterdam.

Mark IJzerman - AudiophotobookSound artist and designer Mark IJzerman creates interactive installations and new instruments. He developed an interactive photo book duringhis residency at art centre NABI in Seoul, together with photographer Sebastién Robert. This interactive photo book changes sound at each page, opening up a new experience of the stories behind the photographs.

More this evening:
Presentation of the NFF Interactive Masterclasses Chatbot by Hackers&Designers, Mobile Choreography by Pips:Lab and the results of the first VR Academy.

We end the evening with drinks and mobile disco game DuoDisco!
