Let's Tour the Sunflower Fields at Clear Meadow Farm in Jarrettsville

We celebrated the autumnal equinox two weeks ago with our "Hello, Autumn" Meetup, but signs of summer are still abundant. In fact, the sunflowers at Clear Meadow Farm in Jarrettsville, MD are set to peak at the end of September this year. Since the peak date varies, we're meeting Saturday, October 4th, in the middle of the best viewing period. Fingers crossed we've got it right. Rain date is Sunday, October 5th.

Entrance to the fields is $5.00 per person and includes access to the craft fair, the flower market and the bake sale table. It also covers 10 acres of FREE parking! Don't you just love great bargains?

After touring the fields and craft fair, we may eat at a nearby restaurant, visit a local consignment shop or stop by the Jarrettsville Creamery for some exceptional, house-made ice cream. It should be a FUN day!

PLEASE NOTE: Park at the field in designated area. Do not park on the street or in parking lots of local businesses to go to the sunflowers.
