The four classic DO wines of Spain, found in most bars throughout the country and even in most decent wine bars abroad, are Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rías Baixas, and Rueda.
People think they know these regions simply because they are everywhere, but the truth is that these wine regions have much more depth than is commonly thought. So... it's time to learn about the classics.
