For the third edition of InSight we will have demos from five speakers, followed by time to meet other attendees over drinks and nibbles!
The speakers:
1. Deborah Casswell, Nexus Studios: Deborah was a pioneer on the Headspace VR app! She's now an Executive Creative Director at Nexus Studios, a multi-BAFTA and Emmy-winning studio known for its groundbreaking work across film, immersive experiences, and emerging tech. She leads teams of makers and thinkers to craft stories that connect deeply and explore the creative boundaries of XR.2. Luca Griotti, Techstar: Luca is COO at Techstar, a leading XR company building VR and AR solutions for industrial and enterprise clients across Europe. With a background in scaling startups and driving innovation, he now leads teams delivering cutting-edge immersive experiences.
3. Orlando Mathias: Orlando is a seasoned Design Leader, who after the acquisition of his Award winning product Innovation Agency (AllofUs), has been working independently across the AR / MR space. Orlando is fostering a 'physical first' approach to AR and will be sharing his latest 'Snap Spectacles' prototypes that demonstrate Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Spatial Data into everyday objects.
4 & 5. Antonia Kerle and Claire Buckingham, BBC: Antonia is the Chief Technical Advisor at the BBC and will be letting us in on how her R&D team thinks about immersive technologies at the strategic level. Claire - the Executive Propositions Manager within the R&D team - will then elaborate on the immersive, live event experiences proposition she is working on in partnership with Condense.
