London Peculiars 2: The hunt for the 7 noses of Soho.
Details
Well after the success of the first London Peculiars meet, and only covering about 5% of the map, I think it would be fun to head west this time and cover the streets of soho looking for the '8 Noses of Soho'!
Yes, those observant ones of you will realise it has changed from Ears to Noses! my mistake... there is a giant ear in soho somewhere, that we may well come across, but the main mission is to find the elusive noses!
Around Soho there are seven noses and it is said that if you spot all of them you will attain infinite wealth. Sculptor Rick Buckley was responsible for many, leaving casts of his nose in 1966. However, this one is more recent, dating to a 2005 ‘Living Streets’ social awareness project in 2005.
I've plotted a route as can be found below. No one* knows exactly where all 7 are located, but i've done some research and found approximate locations for us to wander between in the hope we might catch a glimpse of these nose sculptures!

The whole walk is 2.47km which if we didn't stop every few minutes to take photos would only last 30mins. I suggest we start early afternoon (will a full belly) and see how long it takes us, and aim to finish up at The Harp Pub near Charing Cross (nice and close to a station/tube). The start point for this, is at the bottom of the Center Point Building (bascically Tottenham Court Road Tube).
After much promotion of this walk at the 8th World Wide Instameet, i felt it was high time i got my act together and oraganised this properly!
I'll add a hashtag closer to the day, and feel free to ask any questions in the comment section below.
See you soon!
*Oh, and should we not find them all, or any for that matter, you can always try this: http://www.peterberthoud.co.uk/2011/06/the-seven-noses-of-soho-discovered-2/
