Saturday Evening Social Meetup & Practice German Speaking

Moving to a new country and starting a new life is never easy, but we’ve done it. I’m always inspired by the quote, “A ship in a harbor is safe, but that’s not what ships are built for.”

Starting a new life in Switzerland brings many beautiful experiences, just like its stunning landscapes. But there are also challenges and untold stories behind the beauty of this land of cheese and chocolate.

During this time of transition, I want to create a community where we can support each other through the integration process.

I'm hosting a weekly meetup for people to practice speaking German together. My German level is A2, so I'm not an expert, but I’m eager to learn and improve with others. Since I’m new to Switzerland, I’m looking forward to meeting like-minded people who want to practice German in a relaxed setting.

This is an informal meetup, so anyone is welcome to join.
Joining fees is FREE for the time being as this is an invitation from me to you.

I’m Claire, originally from Myanmar, used to work in Singapore for 10 years, moved to Switzerland 2.5 years ago.
