Reiki for Children

This class is a Reiki Level 1 Training especially designed for children 6 to 12 years of age! (Note: One parent/guardian must attend as well!)
(Parents/guardians may also choose to be attuned alongside their child!)

Children are our future, guiding us to a new way of being. Learning Reiki is one of the best ways they can begin this process.

This class will provide your child with all of the wonderful gifts Reiki has to offer, including:

• Ability to heal themselves and others
• Enhanced relaxation and sleep
• Improved concentration
• Promotes creativity
• Encourages self-awareness
• Calming and balancing
• Gives children a way to deal with stresses of growing up

No experience necessary, just a willingness to explore and have fun!
Reiki for children is both playful and fun and an accurate and complete Reiki training. The Reiki I attunements administered to each child are the same as the ones our adult Reiki students receive in my Reiki I Training.

The young student will learn the history of Reiki, how to use their hands to scan for energy and vitality, how to practice self Reiki, and how to give a complete Reiki treatment to anyone - including other children, adults and pets.

After taking this class, your child will be able to practice Reiki for a variety of purposes including treating long-standing conditions as well as injuries requiring immediate aid. The calming practice of Reiki can benefit children by promoting relaxation and confidence. Learning about the benefits of Reiki at a young age promotes a healthy way of living throughout their lives, helping children make better choices and create balance!

## Curriculum

• Learning the story of Reiki, where it originated, and how it works
• Learning how to connect with Universal Source Energy for greater peace, healing, and understanding.
• Learning how to do a self treatment & how to do a treatment on others (they do learn this, however the focus of the class is self-healing first, then helping others)
• Learning how to user Reiki on animals and other living things
• Learning how to 'feel' energy in different objects
• Learning how to choose, clean, and charge a crystal for use in healing
• Learning how to see or sense the energy field and to draw a picture of their unique energy
• Learning how to clear, balance, and strengthen their energy and the energy in their environment
• Receiving 4 Reiki Attunements
• Having an Amazing time!

Each mini Reiki I graduate will receive:

• A full class manual
• A certificate of Reiki I completion (suitable for framing!)
• Gifted crystals to take home
• A copy of The Inner Rainbow, an awesome picture-book guide to the seven chakras & chakra healing!

Snacks will also be provided! (Though it is recommended that participants bring their own lunch.)

Note: This class is restricted to 5 students and 5 parents/guardians. One legal guardian MUST be present throughout the class for each student. Plus, this can be a beneficial experience for you as well; we encourage you to participate in the class alongside your student, and we’ll also teach you how you can continue supporting your child’s Reiki practice at home!

Reiki treatments are safe and non-invasive. Children today are dealing with anxiety, fears, peer pressures, and educational pressures. Childhood ailments such as ear infections, respiratory infections, asthma, G.I. upset, and type 2 (adult-onset) diabetes are rising. Reiki has been helpful in the treatment of ADD/ADHD, inattentiveness, irritability, emotional issues, hyperactivity, and defiance.

Since Reiki works on all levels of the body, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, it will use the energy to find balance in its own way. It will adjust to the moment and the needs of the individual. Because Reiki is balancing, it can benefit regardless of the type of “disorder” and can provide soothing moments for parents and kids alike.
