Not-Self Authorship: Writing the Good Life w/ Sean Waters

Details

It’s not 10,000 hours to mastery -- it’s 10,000 ego-deaths.” What might we mean by “Not-Self Authorship” ? How does the Buddhist Philosophy of not-Self connect with the more modern existential idea of “self-authorship and self-actualization”? And secondly: what is writing the Good Life? How does the act of writing connect to comparative views of “the good life”: Aristotelian eudaimonia, Buddhist nirvana, Taoist “Harmony,” Epicurean ataraxia, Stoic equanimity, positive psychology PERMA and so on (and on).

Join Sean Waters from the Wisdom Workshop for a session that explores our “good life,” where it comes from, and how grounded it is in reality and moral goodness -- a first step towards actualizing, creating, and authoring a more enlightened experience.
