Spontaneous Book Rescue - Bloomington

We’ll meet up at a local library sale to look through the shelves together and see what we can find. Library sales are full of surprises—forgotten gems, odd titles, and books that deserve a second life.

After we’ve browsed, we’ll decide what feels right in the moment. Maybe we’ll sit if there’s space. Maybe we’ll step outside with coffee and talk about what we found. Maybe we’ll just trade a few books and head on with the day.

There’s no script. The gathering shapes itself around whoever shows up and whatever feels natural—talking, trading, sharing, or simply walking the stacks side by side.

It’s about two things: saving books, and remembering how good it feels to do something simple together.
