Picnic Walk to Wirral Country Park - 3:00PM

Hey I'm Tom! I've lived in the Wirral my whole life and I love showing people it's natural beauty.

The Walk

West Kirby to Thurstaston Walk.
Picnic in Wirral Country Park.

Meet at 3:00PM, set off at about 3:15PM to make sure nobody is left behind.

Length

5.7 Miles there and back. Flat Terrain.
2.8 mile walk to the park - Rest & Picnic - 2.8 Mile walk back.

Meeting

Meet in the square infront of the West Kirby Leisure Centre. Next to Bus and Train Station.

I'll have an Olive Green Hiking Bag with me. So I won't be hard to spot.

We then walk down the Wirral Way path to Thurstastion, were we'll reach Wirral Country Park and it's Meadows.

There we will have a Picnic. So bring something nice to eat as theres a lovely view from the grassy hills.
The park also has a cafe but be aware it usually very busy.

You can then walk back to West Kirby either along the beach or back up the Wirral Way.
Or even do half and half, your choice.

Weather

If the weather is rainy, the walk will still go ahead but the Picnic will be skipped and we can instead go to the cafe at the park's entrance.
