About I-English

Purpose and Goal of I-English:

The purpose of this initiative is to enable members who speak English as a second language to engage in focused discussions and gain insights from their peers while enhancing their conversational English skills during the event. The objective of I-English is to perpetually foster a welcoming atmosphere for English learning through active participation and interaction, thereby facilitating the improvement of conversational abilities. In this manner, ESL participants and members will have the opportunity to bolster their confidence as they take on the challenge of mastering English to achieve fluency.

Why I-English?
Mastering English can prove challenging when you are consistently immersed in your native language. The I-English group provides a platform for you to engage in English conversation practice. During I-English sessions, you will have the chance to take on the roles of both host and speaker, which will aid in enhancing your English proficiency. This experience will positively influence your career and bolster your confidence when communicating with native English speakers as you explore industry and job prospects that necessitate the use of the English language. On a personal level, you may find yourself able to engage in conversations with assurance as you interact with others, thanks to the confidence gained from your numerous sessions with I-English.

Membership
1. Lifetime membership fee NTD 1,500. Entry fee is not required for both members and non-members for year 2025. Starting 2026 meeting will require 160NTD for non-members. Members entry is 100NTD.
2. Guests are welcome to join gathering for 2 times. We expect that you join the membership on your 3rd visit.
3. The fees collected are for general operation, facilities and upcoming field trips expense activities.

Members' right
1. Only members are able to be host, speaker and gourmet.
2. Members have priority to participate monthly outing and Christmas party.
3. Only members are allowed to join officers team and run the study group.
