A live one-hour German class on Zoom for complete beginners. Chat in casual du-German, understand Berlin slang, shop at a Späti and get around at night.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Talk politely at a club door and get around on the U-Bahn
- Greet people the Berlin way and chat using informal du
- Use common slang, and know when it is too informal
- Buy drinks and snacks at a Späti and pay
You repeat together with the whole class (nobody is singled out), then practise in small breakout rooms of 2 or 3. Afterwards your phrase sheet with a pronunciation guide stays in your account.
At most 12 people. Camera optional, nothing recorded, so feel free to get things wrong.
