Event description
Join us for a special opportunity to climb the spire of Chichester Cathedral and see the city from a completely different perspective.

We’ll begin by meeting at 11:15 am in the Cloisters Kitchen & Garden Café for coffee and introductions before our ascent. At 12:00 noon, we’ll take part in the guided Spire Visit, climbing winding staircases and exploring spaces normally hidden from view. Along the way, we’ll discover more about the cathedral’s history and architecture, and at the top enjoy wonderful panoramic views over Chichester and the surrounding countryside.

Afterwards, people are very welcome to linger in the cathedral, or head off as they wish. This promises to be a memorable experience — combining heritage, architecture and good company.

• 🌀 The visit involves narrow staircases and climbing, so please wear suitable footwear
• ☕ The café meeting beforehand is informal — feel free to join us there or meet at the Spire Visit if you prefer
