Exciting Interfaith / World Peace News

In 2017, the World Interfaith Network and the Poway Interfaith Team created the annual ‘INTERFAITH AWARENESS WEEK’ during the second week in August. City leaders, politicians, interfaith groups, peace organizations and people from around the world DEDICATED themselves to ***“Honor and respect people of all faiths, people of peace and high consciousness, cultures, creeds, and races and seek to learn from those who believe equal spiritual opportunity and human rights belong to every person.” ***In 2018, California Governor Brown proclaimed the week an annual State holiday.

In preparation for the 10th Annual IAW August 9-15, the World Interfaith Network has expanded its Global reach to include peacemakers, faith groups and world leaders who seek to reduce tensions between people of all backgrounds. We have luminaries from: Israel, Nigeria, Australia, Chile, Brazil, Africa, England, Canada and throughout the United States who will be presenting during this 10th Anniversary week of IAW. 40, 90-minute, dynamic ZOOM presentations (Dialogue and Music) will take place during the 7 days of the program PLUS, additional interfaith and peace-oriented programs will follow around the globe in the weeks thereafter.

The Director of the World Interfaith Network, Rev. Dr. Steve Albert commented, “Our program last year was incredible, and this year’s expanded reach goes beyond our wildest dreams. It allows us to realize that WE ARE NOT ALONE in this world and that There CAN Be Peace on Earth.” This is what we are evolving into.

The 40-ZOOM presentations are offered free to the public and the final program will be accessible at **[https://world-interfaith.com ](https://world-interfaith.com/)**beginning August 5th. There is no charge for attendees or presenters. For additional questions or to receive more detailed information, contact Rev.
