4: Struggling Together

Details

UPDATE: Due to the coronavirus situation, we'll be moving this meeting to an online format. We'll email details nearer the time

"It was amazing. It's wonderful how people can connect, share and enjoy a great time without having met before"

"It was a really good event. I was more happy and positive after it that I had been for a while."

Intermingled Cambridge is an experiment in creating connections for people in and around Cambridge who might not otherwise meet each other.

For our 4th Meeting, we'd like to share experiences of things that feel like a struggle. And explore ways of struggling together, with care but also a sense of playfulness. We're not looking to fix anything, but to see what's possible when we work together to explore the parts of life that are frustrating or stressful.

We'll use a variety of activities to do this. There'll be no long speeches or awkward small talk over drinks, but there will be opportunities to share experiences and learn from each other. Think of it as the antidote to most networking events.

All the activities will be voluntary so if one is not your cup of tea, you can just observe from the sidelines.

There is some risk of having fun and making some interesting discoveries about yourself and the other people coming along.
