🌟 Factory Fun in Ibaraki: Mayo & Beer Tour! 🍻🍱
Craving a day of discovery, delicious food, and fresh beer? Join us for the UCIA Factory Tour in Ibaraki!
Ever wondered why Japanese mayonnaise tastes so good? Or how the perfect "Super Dry" pint is brewed? We’re heading out on a special day trip to explore two of Japan's most iconic brands! This is a great chance to meet fellow international residents and see the "behind-the-scenes" of Japanese manufacturing.

Schedule: May 26, 2026 (Tuesday)

  • 07:30 - Depart from Utsunomiya
  • 10:00 - Kewpie Mayonnaise Factory Tour 🐣
  • 12:00 - Bento Lunch Time 🍱
  • 14:00 - Asahi Super Dry Museum (with Beer Tasting! 🍻)
  • 18:30 - Arrival back at Utsunomiya

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES (Please read carefully)

  • Dietary Restrictions: The provided bento is a standard Japanese meal. It is NOT Halal, vegetarian, or allergy-free. Please bring your own lunch if you have dietary restrictions.
  • Alcohol Policy: Per Japanese law, beer tasting is only for those aged 20+. If you are driving a car, motorcycle, or bicycle after the tour, you cannot drink.

💰 Participation Fees & Sign-up

  • Exchange Students: ¥3,000
  • Foreign Residents: ¥3,500
  • UCIA Members: ¥4,000
  • General Public: ¥5,000
  • Capacity: First 45 applicants.

🚨 HOW TO JOIN (Registration Process):

  1. YOU MUST CALL the UCIA office at 028-616-1870 to reserve your spot.
  2. Meeting Point: We will provide the exact meeting location details over the phone when you register.
  3. We DO NOT accept registrations via Meetup "Attend" button or email. Phone call only.
  4. After calling, please pay the fee at the UCIA office by May 1st.

  • お酒について: 試飲は20歳以上限定です。また、当日解散後に車両（自転車含む）を運転する方は飲酒できません。

留学生 3,000円 / 外国人 3,500円 / UCIA会員4,000円 / 一般 5,000円 （先着45名様）

  2. 集合場所について: 電話予約の際に、当日の詳しい集合場所をご案内します。

  4. 電話予約後、5月1日までにUCIA窓口にて参加費をお支払いください。
