Hello,
I would like to invite all curious domestic cooks to join The International Brunch Club. The purpose is to stretch our cooking talents and to foster our understanding of other cultures. While making new and brilliant friends of course.
The way it will work...
We meet once a month at Lisa and Ronald's home They provide the national cocktail of the country we are featuring and the place to meet.
Each guest will create a dish that represents the culinary traditions of the country we are featuring. The dishes must be fully prepared and ready to serve upon arrival.
One guest will also be asked to gather a few facts or stories about the county chosen ,so they can do a 5-10 minute presentation for the group.
We will sit to Brunch that has been prepared. During brunch the members tend to share the adventures of choosing a recipe and making the dish.
It is all meant to be done with Joy and kindness.
We hope to welcome new members form Cobourg and the surrounding areas.
The beauty of this idea besides the friends and great food. Is that it is simple to make one dish and google some trivia. This way no one person, does all the work of a dinner. Yeah!
We would like to announce that we now have enough members, so that if someone is unable to come there are lots of "Brunchies" still coming.
