Unbuckle your belt and bring your bare hands because we’re hosting a culinary symphony inspired by the spice-laced soul of Ethiopia. Think hand-painted stews, tangy injera masterpieces, and zero cutlery.

Lucy will be supplying the injera bread - soft, spongy, and ready for action. You bring a rich, spicy, from-scratch Ethiopian dish we’ll all be scooping up with our glorious, bare hands.

The Finger-Lickin’ Protocols:

🍽️ RSVP & Commit
This is not a game of “Will I? Won’t I?” It’s stew time, not story time. Decide, commit, and prepare to stain your cuticles with glory.

🧑‍🍳 Bring a Handmade Dish
Think of it as Top Chef, but everyone’s barefoot and weirdly excited about lentils. If your dish didn’t start with raw ingredients and at least one minor existential crisis, it’s not ready. Cook like you mean it.

🥄 Bring Your Own Serving Utensils
Your dish is amazing, but no one can eat it with compliments alone. Utensils are your wingmen – don’t leave them behind.

💬 Post Your Dish in the Comments Section
We’re aiming for a glorious rainbow of Ethiopian dishes, not a beige army of duplicate wots. Be the hero who brings something different. Don’t let the buffet become a monoculture.

📅 Need to cancel? Tell us three days ahead of time
If you ghost us, your lentil karma will be reversed. A thousand overcooked stews await you in the afterlife. Save yourself. If you must, cancel with time to spare.

⚠️ Known Side Effects:
🍴 Referring to silverware as “those cold, lifeless tools of colonialism”
🫦 Uncontrollably whispering “simmer” during moments of intimacy
🎬 Becoming the subject of the Netflix docuseries: Forkless and Free

✋ RSVP now and unlock your true grip-and-rip potential. This isn’t a dinner - it’s a calling. And it doesn’t come with cutlery.
