Chef’s Secret Tasting: the 1st Dim Sum Adventure

There are restaurant menus the public sees, and then there are other menus: the hidden ones, the ones known only to chefs, aunties, and people who have seen too much.

This time, the chef is creating a Secret Tasting of Dim Sum.

There will be no ordering and no menus. We are handing the steering wheel to the chef, climbing into the passenger seat, and accepting whatever mysterious dumpling-adjacent treasures emerge from the kitchen. We may not know exactly what everything is. And that is the point.

This event is for adventurous eaters who are just a little reckless. It is for anyone who can look at an unfamiliar dumpling and think, “I don’t know what’s in there, but I’m ready to find out.” Surprise is just fear with better sauce.

Important mission details:

💵 Please bring $25 cash. This covers your dinner, including gratuity.

🕔 Please arrive on time. The event starts promptly at 5:00 PM, and the food will begin arriving soon after. This is not the night to wander in late like a mysterious stranger in Act Two.

🥟 Please only sign up if you are definitely committed to coming. The restaurant will be planning around our final headcount, so last-minute no-shows create real problems. My wallet supports dumpling exploration, but not invisible diners.
