### Madagascar Discovery Evening: The Island of a Thousand Faces

Come and stop off in the heart of the Big Island and discover a fascinating country in the Indian Ocean, renowned for its extraordinary landscapes, unique biodiversity and living traditions.
Separated from the African continent for millions of years, Madagascar has developed flora and fauna found nowhere else in the world. But the island is not limited to its famous baobabs and lemurs: it also boasts a rich history, remarkable cultural diversity and traditions passed down from generation to generation.
During this discovery evening, we invite you to explore Madagascar from a different perspective through a friendly and accessible cultural immersion centred on sharing and exchange.
This event aims to celebrate Madagascar’s cultural diversity, raise awareness of the richness of its natural heritage and introduce its living traditions in a spirit of curiosity, openness and conviviality.

What to expect:

• A themed presentation on Malagasy geography, biodiversity, history, culture and music;
• Fun quizzes to test your knowledge;
• An introduction to Malagasy music;
• A convivial get-together featuring a tasting of Malagasy specialities and an opportunity to exchange with other participants.

Registration is required :

• €10 for Club International de Paris members, for bookings made before October 7th.
• €15 for bookings made from October 7th onwards.
• Advance booking is required and places are limited.

#### À la découverte de Madagascar, l’île aux mille visages

Venez faire escale au cœur de la Grande Île et découvrez un territoire fascinant situé dans l’océan Indien, entre paysages extraordinaires, biodiversité unique et traditions vivantes.
Séparée du continent africain depuis des millions d’années, Madagascar a développé une faune et une flore que l’on ne trouve nulle part ailleurs. L’île possède également une histoire riche, une grande diversité culturelle et des traditions transmises à travers les générations.
À travers cette soirée découverte, nous vous invitons à explorer Madagascar autrement, lors d’une immersion culturelle conviviale.
Cet événement a pour ambition de valoriser la diversité culturelle de Madagascar, de sensibiliser à la richesse de son patrimoine naturel et de faire découvrir ses traditions vivantes dans un esprit de curiosité et d’échange .

Au programme de cette soirée :

• Une présentation thématique autour de la géographie, de la biodiversité, de l’histoire, de la culture et de la musique malgaches ;
• Des quiz pour tester vos connaissances de manière ludique ;
• Une découverte de la musique malgache ;
• Un moment convivial autour d’une dégustation de spécialités malgaches et d’un temps d’échanges.

• 10 € pour les membres du Club International de Paris, pour toute réservation effectuée avant le 7 Octobre inclus.
• 15 € pour toute réservation à partir du 7 Octobre.
