International Filmmakers: First Photowalk in Leipzig

On 13.12.2025 International Filmmakers Community will host the first "Photowalk" Meetup.
We want to combine photography with movement and want to bring like minded people together.

What to expect
We will meet at the Wildpark entrance and then walk through Elster-Plausse-Auwald to the Fockeberg (total ca 4,5 kilometers). The focus is on personal discovery and creative freedom - finding interesting light, textures, and scenes that inspire you in a relaxed, social atmosphere. Chat, compare shots and share ideas with like-minded people who enjoy taking photos.

It's open to anyone, regardless of age, background or skill level. It is for total beginners snapping their first photos, hobbyists testing new lenses, and experts seeking fresh perspectives. Bring your smartphone, DSLR or other equipment – all are welcome.

Make sure your chosen device is fully charged. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress warmly. Bring your preferred drinks – either warm or cold – to stay refreshed during the walk. If you would like bring food or snacks to enjoy along the way or during a little break.

Am 13.12.2025 veranstaltet International Filmmakers Community das erste „Photowalk“ Meetup. Wir wollen Fotografie mit Bewegung verbinden und Gleichgesinnte zusammenbringen.

Was euch erwartet
Wir treffen uns am Eingang zum Wildpark und wandern dann durch den Elster-Plausse-Auwald zum Fockeberg (insgesamt ca. 4,5 Kilometer). Dabei geht es vor allem darum, auf Entdeckungstour zu gehen und kreativ zu sein – such dir das Licht, die Texturen und Szenen aus, die dich ansprechen, und genieße die entspannte Atmosphäre. Du kannst mit neuen Leuten ins Gespräch kommen, Fotos vergleichen und Gedanken mit Gleichgesinnten teilen, die genauso gern fotografieren wie du.

Jeder kann teilnehmen – egal wie alt du bist, woher du kommst oder wie viel Erfahrung du hast. Egal ob du gerade erst mit der Fotografie anfängst, als Hobby neue Objektive ausprobierst oder als Profi frische Perspektiven suchst – bring dein Smartphone, deine DSLR oder deine Lieblingskamera mit, es sind alle willkommen.

Denke daran, dein Gerät vorher aufzuladen. Zieh bequeme Schuhe an und kleide dich warm. Bring dir gern Getränke mit – warm oder kalt – und wenn du möchtest, kannst du auch Snacks oder Essen mitnehmen, für eine kleine Pause unterwegs.
