International Founders Network (Austin)

Join Austin's dedicated international founders community. 🌍

Welcome to the Austin's International Founders Meetup, brought to you by International Founders Network (IFN).

Whether you're an international founder, immigrant entrepreneur building a global startup in Austin, or a local founder/investor looking to connect with the international community, this is your place.

Austin attracts world-class talent, but the international founder journey comes with "hidden" hurdles: immigration complexity, unfamiliar funding norms, and rebuilding a high-trust network from scratch.

IFN brings this monthly meetup to bridge that gap, connecting international founders with each other and with Austin's broader startup ecosystem, while helping local founders and operators tap into global perspectives and talent.

We bring together international founders, Austin-based entrepreneurs, and globally-minded operators to share the unwritten rules of the Austin startup ecosystem and help each other move from introductions to real momentum.

What to expect

• High-signal networking: Founder-focused connections across stages (idea → Seed → Series B+), bridging international and local communities
• The Tactical Spotlight: Short, expert-led deep dives into issues faced by international founders
• Founder-to-founder problem solving: Hiring, fundraising, GTM, banking, legal/immigration logistics, and operator lessons learned
• Expert access (occasionally): Investors, attorneys, operators, and immigrant founders who've built here
• Actionable resources: Practical templates, referrals, and collaborations; minus the fluff

Who should join

• International & Immigrant Founders: Whether you are new to Austin or already scaling here
• Austin-Based Founders: Looking to connect with international talent, co-founders, or global perspectives
• Global Operators: Tech leaders and builders exploring their next entrepreneurial move
• Allies & Mentors: Investors, attorneys, and mentors who actively support international expansion

If you're building in Austin or thinking globally, you're in the right place.

When: 4th Thursday of every month
Where: Station Austin, ACL Room (16th floor)
