Hello and welcome to our community!
International Lesbians Barcelona was created to enable queer women to hang out, socialise, and explore the city together. Whether you’re looking for friendship, networking, community, or romance, you’re in the right place.
To stay up to date with events and make plans, we use a WhatsApp group for convenience. Please message Kim or Lidi privately and we can add you to the group.
So, what can you expect from our Meetups?!
WHERE: We tend to meet in different LGBTQ bars and spaces. It varies depending on the event!
WHO: Women who love women - lesbian, bi, queer and everything in between! We are a trans-inclusive group and will not tolerate any form of discrimination.
LANGUAGE: English and Spanish. You’re welcome to speak any language at our Meetup but, as we are an international group, the common language tends to be English! However, the organisers and lots of our members speak Spanish too.
CONTACT: Apart from the Meetup platform, we communicate regularly on our WhatsApp group to share events/ information. For privacy reasons, we don’t publish the joining link on the page so please message Kim or Lidi.
INTERNATIONAL: We are proud to have such a diverse range of nationalities in our group. However, don't take the “international” title too seriously as Spanish and Catalan members are MORE than welcome too! What would we do without the locals?
FIRST TIME ATTENDEES: Feeling nervous about coming alone to an event for the first time? Don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our organisers - it would be our pleasure to meet you outside the event and introduce you to other members!

Hola y bienvenidas a nuestra comunidad!
International Lesbians Barcelona fue creado para permitir que las mujeres queer salgan, socialicen y exploren la ciudad juntas. Ya sea que estés buscando amistad, contactos profesionales, comunidad o romance, estás en el lugar correcto.
Para mantenerte al tanto de los eventos y hacer planes, utilizamos un grupo de WhatsApp para mayor comodidad. Por favor, envía un mensaje privado a Kim o Lidi y te añadiremos al grupo.
¿Qué puedes esperar de nuestros Meetups?
DÓNDE: Solemos reunirnos en diferentes bares y espacios LGBTQ. ¡Varía según el evento!
QUIÉN: Mujeres que aman a mujeres - lesbianas, bisexuales, queer y todo lo que hay en medio. Somos un grupo inclusivo de personas trans y no toleraremos ninguna forma de discriminación.
IDIOMA: Inglés y español. Eres bienvenida a hablar cualquier idioma en nuestro Meetup, pero como somos un grupo internacional, el idioma común suele ser el inglés. Sin embargo, las organizadoras y muchas de nuestras participantes también hablan español.
CONTACTO: Además de la plataforma Meetup, nos comunicamos regularmente en nuestro grupo de WhatsApp para compartir eventos/información. Por razones de privacidad, no publicamos el enlace para unirse en la página, así que por favor envía un mensaje a Kim o Lidi.
INTERNACIONAL: Estamos orgullosas de tener una diversidad tan amplia de nacionalidades en nuestro grupo. Sin embargo, no tomes el título de "internacional" demasiado en serio, ya que las participantes españolas y catalanas son MÁS que bienvenidas también. ¿Qué haríamos sin la presencia de ellas?
ASISTENTES POR PRIMERA VEZ: ¿Te sientes nerviosa por venir sola a un evento por primera vez? No dudes en ponerte en contacto con una de nuestras organizadoras; será un placer encontrarnos contigo en la entrada del evento y presentarte a otras participantes.
