No previous Kendo or martial arts experience is required.

⚔️ What We’ll Experience
We’ll begin with an introduction to the concept and philosophy of Japanese martial arts, including the mindset, respect, discipline, and etiquette that are an important part of Kendo.
Then we’ll move into practical training.

You’ll learn from Proffesionals :
How to properly hold a shinai (竹刀 / bamboo sword)
Basic Kendo stance and posture
Basic footwork and movement
Fundamental sword movements
Traditional Kendo etiquette

The meaning and values behind Japanese martial arts

剣を持つだけじゃない。日本の武道の考え方まで体験できる、初心者歓迎の剣道イベントです。
「日本で剣道を体験してみたい」
「日本文化をもっと深く知りたい」
「せっかく東京にいるなら、特別な文化体験をしてみたい」
そんな方にぴったりのイベントです。
今回の東京剣道体験では、単に竹刀を振るだけではなく、日本の武道に込められた考え方や精神性にもふれていただきます。
最初に、剣道をはじめとする日本武道の理念・礼儀・心構えについてわかりやすくご紹介します。
その後、実際に**竹刀（しない）**を持ちながら、基本の動きや構えを体験していただきます。
剣道や武道の経験がない方でも安心してご参加いただけます。
東京在住の方はもちろん、旅行中の方、日本文化に興味がある方にもおすすめです。
