Turks & Caicos’s trip

International Sailors is putting together an international trip to The Turks & Caicos Islands.
Tenative dates are February 8 through February 20.
If there is enough interest - we can expand those time frames one week either before or after.

The main interest is sailing with and observing the whales which migrate to this area. Also we will sail, island hop, explore and snorkel.
We will be based out of Providenciales (Provo).

*There seems to be a shortage of boats so we need to plan for firm interested sailors (capacity) and decide if we were going to rent a monohull or catamaran.

Experience level is not important - there will be a USCG Captain and I am sure that we will have Sailors that have sailed with us before. If not, we can pick up an experienced first mate out of the group.

During the trip the goal to have everybody performing at a First Mate level. Which means they will be rotating positions for every crew member. There will be plenty of helm time, navigation, anchoring, docking experience etc. All crew-members work.

There will be the ability to change Crews and you can come on and off on however many days are available to you. This will allow for two 5 day time frames.

The trip is designed to share expenses equally between all participating crewmembers.

For budget purposes estimate approximately $200 a day for the boat. Breakfast and lunch on the boat and then we can decide on dinners once we find out the availability/proximity of restaurants.

Transportation to and from the yacht will be your responsibility as well airfare to and from.

Travelers are welcomed - in the Turks & Caicos’s must show proof of vaccination as well as travel insurance.

Deposits are due no later than 30 days before departure.
