International Sailors is based out of the Tampa Bay Florida area. <br>We are an international sailing club that offers its members an opportunity to sail in phenomenal locations for an incredible price. We are an outgrowth of a local single sailing club mostly in Tampa Bay. Over the twenty five years of existence, some of the members would put together one or two international trips per year for that group. <br> International Sailors came about to join different sailing communities, have a consistent schedule of international trips and members have the opportunity to sail in their fantasy sailing locations. As members we can take advantage of large group discounts that we are continually working on.
As a club, we in most cases will charter a sailing vessel in international sailing areas. International Sailors also looks at the ideal sailing conditions for optimum sailing time window.
The boats are always 40+ feet and can be either monohulls or catamarans. We have additional insurance coverage for our member trips. As a sailing club, the crew divides the total costs equally per member.
We always coordinate trips with a licensed Captain and First Mate so there are learning opportunities for beginner level up.
Helm time is shared and our trips are designed to advance any sailors knowledge to the degree that they desire.
Our trips are working trips so every crew member is expected to participate in the smooth running of the vessel.
We charter the boats in two week time slots and there is the option of either 7 day stay or an extended stay of 14 days.
Sailing education is available year around and we also have certification trips up and down the West Coast of Florida and through the Keys and the Dry Tortugas.
