What we’re about
Welcome to my second Meetup travel group! I like to call this project a Melbourne travel secret! Beautiful, memorable, very high quality road trips for people who are very new to Australia! Over 50 road trips done in 3 years (in both groups combined)!
I was going to stop doing this project after 50 road trips but I am still continuing! Not as much as I used to do before but I am still happy to do occasional road trips! It can be planned through Meetup or separately on other platforms.
No matter which way road trips are planned, photos are always posted on the group Instagram below:

Pinned posts show the 14 routes and various rentals I have hired.
Cost is $20 and buying me simple lunch on the trip! This covers a new, large rental (SUV), fuel and driver. There are 14 classic routes (routes list is further below). Minimum 1 person, maximum 4 people. The reason for the low cost is explained further below.
As mentioned, this is my second Meetup travel group and in both groups combined, I have done over 50 road trips in 3 years! The first group link is at the very bottom. In this second group, I only do road trips for International Students, Working Holiday Makers and tourists.
Two simple rules to join:
1: You must be either an International Student, Working Holiday Maker or a tourist.
2: It will be your first time going to the location.
Why is the cost so low? This is not a business, which is why the cost is so low, even though the quality is very high (like a tour company)! I will never make it a business. I am also not using this as a way to sell or promote anything. This project is simply my community service that I have been doing for many years. It is my way of giving back in life.
I cover majority of the expenses because this has never been about the money. I have done over 50 road trips under this project. The low cost is just a simple formality. The main goal is sharing the natural beauty of Australia with people who are very new to this country. It makes me truly fulfilled when I see them get inspired by the nature of Australia. That nature has helped me find so much peace, passion and wisdom since I moved here. I am very grateful.
I like to call this project “a Melbourne travel secret” in a fun way, even though everything is public!
If you ever want to go anywhere, either on your own or with your friends, or if you have any questions, please feel welcome to reach out! The 14 classic routes are below.
