A new Portuguese artisan bakery has landed in Jumeirah Village Circle, and the Pastel de Nata is doing most of the talking.

The bakery is built around freshly baked pastries, with the Pastel de Nata, Portugal’s iconic custard tart, all flaky lamination and caramelised top, positioned as the signature draw.

Beyond that, the menu rounds out with a selection of croissants, desserts, and speciality coffee.

For a cuisine that doesn’t have huge representation in Dubai’s bakery scene compared to French or Italian patisserie, a dedicated Portuguese spot is a genuinely fresh addition to the city.
