Festibağ Sunday | An Evening Under the Stars in a Garden 🌙🍇

Join us on Sunday, September 13th for a special evening at the venue, where live music, wine, gastronomy, and festival vibes come together in one of Istanbul’s most beautiful open-air garden venues overlooking the Bosphorus.

Step into a spellbinding journey to Iznik, a serene lakeside town where the echoes of Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman empires linger through every stone. Departing from Istanbul, we arrive in this timeless “Holy City,” where history and myth intertwine, beginning with a peaceful lakeside pause and a taste of local flavors.

We step into the sacred atmosphere of Hagia Sophia Mosque, where the First Council of Nicaea shaped the foundations of Christian belief. Here, the Nicene Creed was proclaimed, the Trinity affirmed, and the divine nature of Jesus defined as one with the Father. The council also set the date of Easter and established the core of the Gospels, selecting from hundreds of sacred texts. It is believed these defining moments took place here or within the mysterious sunken basilica beneath the lake, adding an air of wonder to the waters below.

We continue to the Iznik Archaeology Museum, where Roman sarcophagi and ancient relics reveal hidden stories of the past, then admire the elegance of the Green Mosque. In intimate artisan workshops, the famed İznik tiles unveil their timeless secret of quartz, reflecting centuries of refined craftsmanship. Wandering among ancient baths and olive groves, the atmosphere deepens into a dreamlike stillness where time seems to slow.

As the sun sets we gather for a serene lakeside dinner before returning to Istanbul! Boutique Group for 14 people.
