In Madrid, D’Rivera returns with a trio format that condenses his multi‑faceted style into an intimate yet explosive setting. The concert promises a rhythmically rich program, blending Afro‑Cuban grooves, jazz improvisation, and classical references, all arranged with meticulous care to showcase his virtuosity on saxophone and clarinet. As in his previous JazzMadrid appearance a few years ago, the performance is designed to keep the audience in a state of continuous surprise, balancing lyrical melodies with intricate rhythmic play.

The trio for this tour features:
Paquito D’Rivera – clarinet (and saxophones)
Pepe Rivero – piano
Sebastián Laverde – percussion
