Dave's Birthday Party @ WaWi

Join us for a special birthday party at one of the nicest beer gardens in the area, with live music and dancing.

Our co-consul Dave is turning 80 (unbelievable, right?) and he's inviting us for a relaxed party afternoon.

We'll have the pleasure of listening and dancing to Mel Canady and his band Chessboard, playing Soul, R&B, Jazz and Funk from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Bobby Womack, Johnny Guitar Watson, James Brown and many more.

There will be no cover charge and no charge for the band. You only have to pay for what you consume in the beer garden.

Please do not bring any presents. Instead, we'd like to ask you for a generous tip for the band. That will be most helpful.

There is no special dress code. However, since the date is very close to Oktoberfest, please feel free to wear something in Bavarian style.

Please sign up only if you’re reasonably sure you can attend, and sign off if your plans change. We need to know whether we have reserved enough tables.

The reserved area will be in front of the band, where the umbrellas are. Everyone is invited, so feel free to bring friends and family!

We hope to see many of you there. Turning 80 only happens once in a lifetime, so let's have some fun!
