Sierra Wireless hands-on mangOH workshop

mangOH (http://mangoh.io/) is an open source hardware platform for industry IoT applications, using Legato open source Linux O/S and application framework (Yocto project). Sierra Wireless, which is a founding member of the project, will be presenting what they are doing and bring the hardware for a hands-on session!

So: bring a laptop and start hacking!

Agenda for the hands-on session:

• Technical presentation of mangOH project

• Discover the hardware and write your first Legato Hello World for mangOH

• Run a preloaded application that acquires data from a set of sensors and push it to the cloud

• Explanation of the source code of the app, Legato structure, etc.

• Attendees then branch more sensors and enhance the application to acquire data from these new sensors and send them to the cloud

• At the end, take a look the source code of the finished application that handles all sensors, and explore new use cases
