What we’re about

Lets come together to read and discuss the world through an intersectional feminist lens. We’ll explore gender, race, disability, transness, prisons, colonization, religion, African feminism, and diverse global perspectives.

Our readings include thinkers like Kimberlé Crenshaw, Nancy Fraser, Simone de Beauvoir, Vivian Namaste, Emma Velev, and Bibi Bakare-Yusuf — while making space for our own experiences and reflections.

Everyone is welcome — whether you’re new or experienced in feminist theory. Bring your curiosity and questions!

First reading:

Title: Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex: A Black Feminist Critique of Antidiscrimination Doctrine, Feminist Theory and Antiracist Politics by Kimberlé Crenshaw
