Madeleine and Syrup in Vallée de Chevreuse

🥾 🌿 Join us for an original hike that mixes history and sweet treats in the beautiful valley of Chevreuse. We will cross the Yvette, a river that meanders through the old washhouses. Then we will go into the woods in the footsteps of Jean Racine, famous French playwright. The walk will next take us to the foot of the majestic medieval castle of la Madeleine. We will enter the town of Chevreuse where we will make our first gourmet stopover with a visit to the workshop of the only syrup maker in Ile-de-France. The visit will end with a tasting.

Puis nous partirons dans les bois sur les traces de Jean Racine, célèbre dramaturge français. La balade nous emmènera ensuite au pied du majestueux château médiéval de la Madeleine.
