Volunteer Trail Maintenance in Clayton Georgia

Where:
Meet at the Ingles in Clayton, Georgia at 7 am sharp.

We will carpool from there. If you have 4x4 truck that would be awesome! If not then we will put you in a car that does.

What:
Depending on how many people we get, we will be doing hedging and reworking water diversions. This will be entirely on the Bartram Trail.

Who:
All folks who are in shape enough to hike for a couple of hours / do some digging or looping work. This will be pretty taxing yet super rewarding work.

What to wear / bring

1. Long sleeves and long pants
2. Running or hiking pack with minimum 2 liters while being pre hydrated.
3. Food for 6 hours of being away from car just in case. Likely want to bring lunch with you.
4. Eye protection / ear protection. So safety glasses / ear plugs
5. Hat
6. Grippy shoes for hiking / working. Personally we use trail running shoes with aggressive grip.
