About us
Jonathan trained in Painting at the Royal Academy Schools and as a printmaker at Central School of Art. He has been running painting classes in Chelsea for over 10 years, in tandem with his own studio practice as an inventive oil painter.
He offers his students a chance to be original and expressive, starting each day with a well-researched slideshow. Exercises are derived from looking at a wide range of modern artists.
The subject matter is often still life, landscape or, more occasionally, portraiture or pure abstraction.
These introductory courses are equally suitable for beginners as well as for experienced painters.
