BYO arts and crafts at Portland Coffee Roasters (Oak St.)

Hi all!

As somewhat of a more typically chill/introverted activity, I wanted to start a weekly event based around crafting, chatting, and coffee (or art, talking, and tea, if that's more your thing). Come as early, late, long, or short as you'd like.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just wanting to try a new hobby out (I'm definitely in the latter group), bring your yarn, sketchpads, and felting needles to hang out and get to know some other people!

Policies/requests:

• Please buy something and tip well. I've checked to make sure that it's ok for us as a group to be there and that it won't be too busy, but we will still be customers. However, if this keeps you from being able to join, I'm more than happy to spot you; just message me beforehand.
• Be cool. I've been to a lot of Meetup groups and for whatever reason(s) there seems to be some overarching patterns in who feels more or less comfortable attending– and from some of the stories I've heard, I don't blame certain people from not wanting to. Similarly, if someone's making you uncomfortable (whether during or after the event), please let me know, and I'll do my best to get things figured out.
• Please RSVP if you're coming, even if it's last minute– I'll be flexible but it's good practice.
