What we’re about

This is a group for the introverts of the area to get together, have some fun, and make new friends. We have some regularly monthly scheduled events like games World Dining Series, Bite Size Bills, Karaoke, Escape Rooms, Feed My Starving Children, and other events are scheduled as we find interesting things to do during the year.

A few rules to follow:

This is not a dating group. We're here for friends and fun; this is not OK Cupid. :) Please conduct yourself in a mature manner, and any harassment or inappropriate behavior by members will result in being expelled from the group.
We want everyone to feel welcome. Racist and sexist remarks, hate speech, and/or purposefully making people uncomfortable will not be tolerated.
Please only RSVP for meetups that you plan to attend.
- If you did RSVP for a meetup that you are not able to attend, please update your RSVP no less than 24 hours before the scheduled event to allow the organizer to update plans and to allow any who might be on a waiting list to be notified that there is room in the event for them.
- Failing to do so, will result in consequences per the event hosts discretion.
- If you are arriving late, please alert the host as soon as possible.

Come join me for semi indoor heated golfing It’s $60 for a bay plus tax. We will split the cost so please bring cash and we will do separate checks for any food or drinks people might want to order. I’m not too keen on their food menu so if anyone wants to join me for an early dinner afterwards you can we will decide after we’re done playing . They dont take reservations so the event will start promptly at 2 and we may have little bit of a wait

Come out an enjoy a night of scares in downtown Elgin. Tickets are about $40 with the service fee for general admission. You are encouraged to dress up! Event ends at 10 p.m.

For those who attend, we will be looking to getting an early dinner before. I will be handing out glowsticks to those who are a part of our group. Please bring cash as I am not sure if the vendors selling drink/food accept card.

Parking will be at either Lakin High School or Elgin High School with shuttles operating every 20 minutes to and from the downtown area to our designated safe zone area.
- If you wish to buy VIP parking, you are looking at an additional $50 added to your admission ticket.
The City of Elgin's Premier Halloween Festival is back for another unforgettable year! Aliens have invaded! Using televisions and lost VHS tapes, they have unleashed cosmic horror upon the citizenry!

Experience the mayhem and carnage on the front lines as the brave Zombie Defense Initiative fight back this intergalactic threat! But, while parts of the city have been overrun with unimaginable nightmares, your safety remains our top priority.

Within the Safe Zone, select businesses will be open to provide food, beverages, shelter, and other supplies you'll need to have an evening of frightful fun!

DISCLAIMER: This event is for adults 17 and older. Citizens under 17 are admitted with, and must remain with, a parent or guardian at all times. No strollers, no weapons (including prop weapons), no animals (with the exception of service dogs), no coolers and no bags.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a nonprofit to eradicate childhood poverty around the globe. They distribute thousands and thousands of pounds of nutritious meal packs to hungry children all over the world, and we get to help pack those meals!

I'm excited to meet everyone who can make it and help make an impact in the world for getting a chance to volunteer.
