Clean Water from Fracking? YES! Innovators' Workshop March 11

IX Power Clean Water (http://www.ixwater.co), the local Colorado company introducing a whole new method for dealing with "produced water" from fracking and other oil extraction techniques, will be the host and featured presenter company at the next JeffCo Innovators' Workshop on Wednesday, March 11th. The event will be held at the company's laboratory in Golden and refreshments will be available.

Each year the oil and gas industry spends at least $40 billion dealing with the wastewater produced in the fracking process and other drilling methods. Typically, the industry reinjects this "produced water" into the ground or must truck it to holding ponds - a very expensive effort. But, a new option is now available. IX Power Clean Water's new OrganiClear machine invented by Los Alamos National Laboratory, the University of Texas, and New Mexico Tech, cleans 99% of benzene, and other hydrocarbons and elements out of produced water to make it safe for reuse on crops, for livestock, and even drinking water! It does so without leaving a residual waste stream for disposal - an amazing first for the industry and a major benefit for the environment.
