Keynote Speaker: Justin Grammens, IoT thought leader and enthusiast.
The Internet of Things (IoT, sometimes Internet of Everything) is the network of physical objects or "things" embedded with electronics, software, sensors and connectivity to enable it to achieve greater value and service by exchanging data with the manufacturer, operator and/or other connected devices
Justin Grammens lives at the intersection of community, business and education. A software architect and business owner for the majority of his career, Grammens co-founded Recursive Awesome (http://recursiveawesome.com/), a mobile software development company which was acquired by Code42 (http://code42.com/) in 2011. He is currently an engineering co-founder at Code42 Software where he is protecting the world’s data with high-performance hardware and easy-to-use software solutions.
Justin has filed patents with the USPTO (http://uspto.gov/), founded the Mobile Twin Cities (http://mobiletwincities.com/) and Arduino.MN (http://arduino.mn/) technology groups and co-founded Mobile March (http://mobilemarchtc.com/); a conference covering connected devices and mobile technologies to more than 300 attendees. He co-launched Minnesota’s first Internet of Things Hack Day (http://iothackday.mn/) and is a mentor to students of all ages through CoderDojo Twin Cities (http://coderdojotc.org/) and the MacStartups (http://www.macalester.edu/macstartups/) program.
Recently he has launched IoTWeeklyNews (http://iotweeklynews.com/), a publication which covers current trends on the Internet of Things and IoTFuse (http://iotfuse.com/) as the first locally focused Internet of Things conference. When he's not building communities, you'll find him speaking at countless conferences and technology groups.
