ADU Design and Build - Asset Diversification within Real Estate

Details
Join us for an informative workshop on designing and building ADUs, featuring Michael Soto & Patricia Denise - Founder and Co-Founder of Origami Design-Build. (We'll also have some time for networking!)
In today's uncertain market conditions, creative investors look for ways to diversify without overextending. One of the most overlooked ways to do that is through Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). Working side-by-side with a licensed and experienced design-build firm, ADUs offer a streamlined, lower-risk way to enhance returns and create multiple revenue streams from a single asset. Building an ADU can be one of the smartest investments you make — but only if it's done right. Many homeowners and investors are tempted to manage the project themselves or hire unlicensed labor to cut costs. Unfortunately, that often leads to costly mistakes, months of delays, and legal headaches. Hiring a licensed general contractor (GC) is critical for a successful ADU build.
About Michael: Michael is a civil engineer by trade and a proud graduate of CSU-Sacramento. As a second-generation builder, he learned the art and skill of construction from his father Miguel Soto, carrying forward a family tradition of quality craftsmanship. Today, Michael applies his expertise and experience to lead Origami Design-Build, working alongside his father to construct homes that reflect his passion for building and care for the local communities.
About Patricia: Patricial is also the founder of Origami Design-Build and has designed multiple ADUs, as well as single-family homes all over California. Her background in Civil Engineering has been a great help in pursuing her passion to do residential design. She oversees Origami Design-Build's planning stages. Today, Patricia manages design & business operations for Origami Design-Build.
