I’m starting a new free finance and investing group in Berlin for people who want to understand how finance works in the real world.

The goal is simple: create an open, thoughtful community where people can learn about private equity, public markets, business models, personal finance, and investing concepts in a practical way.

I’ve spent my 10+ year career in private equity and investing, and I want to share the “legacy knowledge” I’ve picked up along the way — the kind of knowledge that is often passed down informally inside banks, investment firms, family offices, private equity funds, and business circles, but is not always easy to access from the outside.

This group is for ALL AGES and ANYONE interested. You can be finance professionals, investors, students, founders, operators, and intellectually curious people who want to get better at understanding companies, markets, capital allocation, and personal wealth building.

Private equity basics: how deals are sourced, valued, financed, and managed
Public equity investing: how to analyze companies, industries, and stocks
Personal finance: saving, investing, compounding, risk, and long-term wealth building
Business models: how companies actually make money
Case studies: real companies, real deals, real investing decisions
Career paths: finance, investing, entrepreneurship, and business ownership

Who is welcome?

Everyone. The group is open to ALL AGES and BACKGROUNDS. You do not need to work in finance. Students, young professionals, career switchers, entrepreneurs, and experienced investors are all welcome.

The only requirements are curiosity, respect, and a willingness to learn.

Important note: This is an educational discussion group, NOT financial advice. We will not be giving personalized investment recommendations, managing money, or telling people what to buy or sell.

The first meetings will be informal: 2-hour sessions with a short topic, discussion, and time to meet other people interested in finance and investing in Berlin.
