📅 March 18th & 19th
🕛 March 18th 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM, March 19th 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based, skills-based course that teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Just as CPR helps you assist someone experiencing a cardiac emergency, Mental Health First Aid equips you to support someone experiencing a mental health crisis or developing concern.
In this training, you will learn how to:
- Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges
- Respond confidently in crisis and non-crisis situations
- Use a practical action plan to support someone in need
- Connect individuals to appropriate professional and community resources
This training is part of #First100, an initiative of InvestInMentalHealth.org to train and certify 100 community members at no cost — equipping our town to say: We See You. We Hear You. We Got You. This training is made possible in part by a grant from the Town of Los Gatos.
⚠️ Important: RSVP on Meetup does NOT officially register you for the training.
