Richard Young has over 20 years of business experience with a background in real estate, architecture and athletics. Richard currently owns investment properties, co-founded a sports consulting firm and assisted small business start ups. He has earned a Master's Degree in Technology Education (Trade & Industrial). He is looking to assist more small business owners and investors build wealth.

Cecil McCurty has 15 years of experience in the Home improvement landscape. Background in real estate, coatings, and big box retail home improvement (trends and analysis). Cecil has experience in property investing and property management. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology Education. Vision is to partner with small business owners and investors on moving their business and vision forward both in sustainability and wealth.

From early on, Eric Porper focused on the possibilities presented by emerging technologies and entrepreneurship. He started his first web-based company 20 years ago helping businesses leverage internet technologies to improve efficiencies in operations and connect with consumers. After moving to Raleigh in the early 2000’s, Eric spent 12 years at Allscripts, a public healthcare software company, and is credited with helping them shift to a modern marketing approach. Over the years, he has helped many early-stage technology companies hone in on their strategy, develop traction, and raise capital.

Will McGuire has been a startup investor and advisor since 2016. His goal is to improve community awareness and access to the private marketplaces which allow anyone to become an investor, entrepreneur and/or venture builder. Blending traditional and newer models, he believes our region is at the groundfloor of one of the greatest growth periods it has ever seen which will be led by a community of investors, entrepreneurs, and partners who build & (re)invest together.
