GILT on "Gracefully handling changes to your server-side data model"

Evan Maloney from GILT will speak on server-driven iOS app development with his talk "Gracefully handling changes to your server-side data model”.

Evan Coyne Maloney has been developing mobile software since 2001, when he built SMS-based customer loyalty and ad metrics software for the European and U.S. markets.

Today, Evan is the principal engineer on Gilt Mobile's iOS projects, where he is responsible for developing the platform on which Gilt's iPhone and iPad apps are built. Part of this platform, called Mockingbird, is currently being prepared for an open source release.

Prior to his joining Gilt in August 2010, Evan created News Pro, the first iPhone and iPad applications for the news agency Reuters. Steve Jobs was known to have been an avid user of both applications.
