Talk #1: Das pubertierende IoT-Projekt: Der Weg zur ausgereiften Lösung (Manuel Schreiner, Accso)
Wenn IoT-Projekte erwachsen werden: Kein IoT-Projekt wird ausgereift bzw. ausgewachsen geboren. Nachdem ein IoT-Projekt auf die Welt gebracht wurde, steht irgendwann „später“ auch die Pubertät des Projektes an. Ich möchte über die spannende und herausfordernde Zeit von pubertierenden IoT-Projekten erzählen und wie sich diese zu einer ausgereiften Lösung etablieren können. Dabei erzähle ich auch über die typischen Fails und Highlights solcher Projekte.

Talk #2: MobiDataLab – How to enable Mobility Data Sharing (Johannes Lauer, HERE Technologies)
This talk can be held in English or in German.
MobiDataLab is the EU-H2020 funded lab for prototyping new mobility data sharing solutions. The aim is to foster data sharing in the transport sector, providing mobility organizing authorities with recommendations on how to improve the value of their data, contributing to the development of open tools in the cloud, and organizing hackathons aiming to find innovative solutions to concrete mobility problems.
In this talk I will give an overview on the project, which has been running since 2021. I will share insights about the mobility data ecosystem, the barriers for mobility data sharing and how we managed to pass them and enable beneficiaries of shared mobility data to solve their challenges. Technical details on the ecosystem and the community management within this 3-year project will give further ideas about potential next steps.

Johannes Lauer is working as a Principal Technical Product Manager at HERE Technologies. He holds a PhD in GIScience from the University of Heidelberg. He works on topics about open (geo)data, mobility data management, map making, (spatial) data analysis and the challenges of data quality and data integration.
